I've been having a lot of tenderness in the lower right of my belly, which has me a little concerned because that is where my placenta is located according to our ultrasound tech. I have another appointment Wednesday, I'm hoping they'll tell me it's all normal and that I'm just paranoid. The third trimester is just as scary as the first from what I'm learning. Yesterday I had a lot of pain in my lower back and my belly was getting really tight. I am assuming it was just Braxton Hicks because it stopped, but it's still so nervewracking.
DH kicked getting the nursery ready into high gear yesterday. We had a prenatal class Saturday with the videos and everything, I think it's finally hit him that there will be a baby to go into the nursery soon! lol!
I had really dreaded the video, but it wasn't so bad. It actually made me feel a lot better and I got really emotional at the parents crying and holding their baby for the first time. I'm going to be an emotional wreck when she gets here!

 | Comment from pbc910 » Posted Oct. 12, 2015 11:27am I can't watch any of those videos or I break down into ugly hormonal crying. I get a lot of tenderness around my belly button. I assumed it's because the bulk of babies' are pushing on that area with their heads. I also get tenderness and an achy feeling in my lower stomach but they didn't see anything on my scans so it appears to just be general pregnancy related symptom. |
