19 weeks!!!

This will be the week that will go by soooooo slowly because next Friday, 20 weeks, I get to see my little girl again on the 20week ultrasound! I am so excited for it but anxious as well. I am hoping everything will look good with baby on it and they won't find any issues. I can't believe I'm almost half way through! I have definitely reached the "uncomfortable" phase of the pregnancy. Baby bump is getting in the way and can't seem to find any comfortable position laying down or sitting up. The heartburn is in full effect and so is the backache but it's all worth it in the end! Also, I saw the high risk Dr yesterday again and I finally feel like I got some answers and a Dr that knows what is going on. She said the blood pressure medicine my OB has me on isn't really good and it's most likely the reason I feel so dizzy and sick all the time. She switched me to a new medicine and hopefully this does the trick! She also said that for someone like me who has chronic hypertension, it's ok if my bp runs a little high throughout the pregnancy. They don't want it to be 120/70 since that may slow down the flow of blood to the baby. My top number fluctuates so much but my bottom number usually is in the low 90's so it's good to know that I'm still in the safe zone. They also said at this point I will need to be monitored very often for the growth of the baby which means more Ultrasounds!

Hopefully the medicine does the trick. I am on a blood pressure med too and I actually had to go off it because it was making my BP too low. I have to get growth ultrasounds too, which means I get one done at each appointment! It's nice to see babies so often even though they won't behave for pictures!

Yay for almost 20 weeks and getting to see your littlest girl again! I will also focus on the positive and be jealous that you get to see her more with more ultrasounds :)
Hopefully the heartburn can be treated by ice cream and the back pain lessens. It also sounds like they have a good handle on your blood pressure.
Happy 19 weeks mama!

Congrats on 19 weeks and I'm glad everything is going well for you! I wish I could get more ultrasounds, lol.
