Surprise L&D visit yesterday!

Yesterday was interesting. Around 3pm I noticed some bright red spots of blood on the tp when I wiped and also on my underwear. Naturally I freaked so I called my dr immediately and they had me come right in. He sent me straight to L&D for an ultrasound and to b monitored. Her heartbeat was perfect and the ultrasound showed a perfectly fine placenta and cervix. I'm not dialated at all either which was great news. I did however have a trace of blood in my urine so they gave me an antibiotic to be on the safe side. It could be an uti but I also know all to well it can b a sign of preeclampsia starting. So far today I haven't seen anymore spotting so that's a good thing. I keep telling her to stay in a few more months!!
