33wks and Christmas Eve trip to L&D!

First of all, Merry Christmas to all the CMP moms and babies baking! For me, it doesn't feel like Christmas at all this year. Got sick on Sunday from my daughter who had a cold and of course with me...it turns into bronchitis. I was fighting it trying to not take anything but that was stupid of me. Wed night the coughing was so bad that I started gushing...and I mean GUSHING fluid out. soaked through 4 period pads in an hour and even though I couldn't smell anything, the fluid looked clear and not like urine. I started googling about it and got a little nervous since I did read that the strain of coughing so bad could rupture the fluid sac. Luckily, I was scheduled for a visit to my OB on Christmas Eve for a non stress test so when I went and told him he sent me immediately to L&D to get the swab done to make sure it wasn't amniotic fluid. Fortunately it wasn't since she needs to stay in a little longer to cook. I was able to make it out in time to make my Bio Physical ultrasound that was scheduled at 1. That went well. She is breathing like she should and moving so much. She is no longer breech and she also Is weighing in now at 5lbs!!! I still feel horrible though. My husband is sick as well so we r spending a quiet Christmas home getting plenty of rest but at least now I have an antibiotic and cough medicine which is helping. Only 6 weeks MAX to go! I can't wait to meet my little angel.
