23 Weeks!

Well ladies... I have 17 weeks to go. Still a very long time. I've just been trying to get everything done within the next couple months. My original plan of having everything done for baby by October and then enjoying the holidays and relaxing definitely didn't go as planned. I gained three pounds in the last week!!! So I am now up six pounds from pre-pregnancy weight. That means I've actually gained closer to ten since the nausea stopped. I was fine with gaining a pound a week, but three in one week isn't cool! That hopefully will slow down. I am now measuring the same size I was when I delivered my youngest daughter. Which means I'm gonna feel like a blue whale by the time this baby is born with 17 more weeks of the majority growing left to go. Since I don't really gain anywhere else on my body... this belly is going to stick out A LOT! Had some leaking colostrum for the first time last night. Still having issues sleeping. Just can't get comfortable at all. Aleena is very very very active! Kicked my phone right out of my hand the other night. Daddy is more and more amazing all the time. He is really good at finding the cutest outfits every time we're at the store. We are turning our office into a baby room, so there is no closet. So we made one last night. Bought a new bookshelf and all the accessories. It looks so much better in person. The picture doesn't do it justice!

 | Comment from Kitten90 » Posted Sep. 23, 2015 1:10pm I'm already bigger than when I delivered my first and at 29 weeks I'm sure I've still got quite a bit of growing to do too! I feel ya lol. I had a couple weeks where my weight jumped up like that but it evened out over the following few weeks so hopefully yours will do the same. It is always a little alarming when that happens |

We don't have a closet for our baby either as it is currently our coat closet so we're in the same boat. I'm going to need a second dresser, haha. I've noticed in stores that it would be more fun to buy for a girl as there seems to be so much more of a selection but I still manage to come home with some cute boy outfit. |

We also don't have closets in our nursery because our nursery is a closet, haha, so this might be an idea I have to copy in some way. Every time we go to the store, I can see my husband's thinking, "NO, not more girl's clothing." I can't wait to get my little one into her pink tutu dress! I don't really like pink but it's the cutest thing ever! |
