Glucose test and routine checkup this morning. They don't want to check my cervix again so soon, because they are afraid it will do more harm than good. Which I fully understand their reasoning, but with the constant contractions I've been having I fail to see how it could get much worse. Lol. Never been so uncomfortable and sore in my life. They left it up to me to continue to work right now, and of course I wasn't just going to sit at home. So here I am at work trying to be a good employee until it's actually time to start this maternity leave. I'm really not concerned with my glucose test at all. I should get the results Monday. I didn't have GD with my other two daughters, and I have not had any reason to suspect it this time around. So at least that's one thing that isn't causing my anxiety to spike. I'm supposed to just be tracking every single contraction and cramping episode and keeping an eye on my fluid for possible leakage. So that's my life right now. Trying to still finish preparing for this baby while trying to take it easy. Seems like an oxymoron, right? How can I do anything from the couch or bed when I'm not at work? And of course already having two children makes it impossible to "take it easy". I'll get through it, though. I feel much more confident that they gave me the steroid boosters for her lungs earlier this week, and I got my whooping cough vaccination today as well. Still just waiting, watching, tracking, praying, and drinking lots of fluids. Hoping for the best!

I hope she stays in there a bit longer! Glad you're attempting to take it easy. Hope the contractions stop soon!

I hope baby stays put for awhile longer, but glad you had steps taken just in case. I can only imagine how scary it would be to go into labor this early.
