Friday night from 5pm until about midnight, I had contractions every 10-15 minutes. I was getting so worried. My breasts also got extremely engorged and started leaking. That didn't happen until after I delivered my first two daughters. I was so worn out from the contractions, I passed out really hard and then started waking up once an hour to pee. So yet another sign of early approaching labor. I'm glad I stayed calm and tried to just get through it, because yesterday the contractions slowed way down. I took it easy and stayed in bed or on the couch for the most part. I woke up at 5:45am this morning feeling refreshed and with more energy. I'm so happy that things are looking up, but I'm just praying it doesn't turn back around tomorrow when I have to go back to work. I just can't afford to be put on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. Just going to take it one day at a time, and do whatever I need to do in order to keep this little girl inside. Mommy is the best incubator. I tell her that all the time. Now I wish I knew what to do about these painful boobs. Lol.

Comment from thomasanddawnxoxo » Posted Nov. 1, 2015 11:00am I completely understand painful boobs. I know when it's getting time for me to pump because my nipples get sore and my boobs feel rock hard. Lol. Hope your little girl hangs tight a couple more weeks!
Comment from Cattsmeow » Posted Nov. 1, 2015 7:51am You're welcome! I do hope they help you out some. I can't stand anything on my chest, not even the spray of water from a shower, and the pads at least make it bearable to wear a bra.
Comment from Summer0120 » Posted Nov. 1, 2015 7:45am That's a good idea. I might try that. Baths are too uncomfortable right now. Thanks!
Comment from Cattsmeow » Posted Nov. 1, 2015 7:41am I'm sorry to hear your little girl is still trying to make an early escape, but glad things slowed down for you. I hope it stays calm for you! As for the painful boobs, I cave and bought some of the gel breast pads that are meant to soothe. I've been wearing those and they've been helping my soreness. Maybe try some of those? I got a package of 4 at WalMart for less than $10. |
