31 Weeks!

31 Weeks! I feel like I should be further along. Time is still dragging. I'm waiting for that moment where it just picks up and starts flying! Oh wait... that's after the baby is born! Lol :) Next week will go faster thanks to Thanksgiving. This week is pretty uneventful which is why it seems to be taking forever. No doctor's appointments, no school events for the kids, no birthday parties for any little ones in the family, etc etc.
My SO and I went on a small date last night. Tacos, ice cream, and a movie. I was surprised I could sit in theater for a whole movie. I did have some cramping and contractions, but that's pretty normal no matter where I'm sitting. I'm sure that we will only be doing that one more time before baby, and that's for Star Wars. Gotta use our money for Christmas instead of date nights! With the weather getting colder and snow in the forecast for this weekend, my boss sent out an email to all employees reserving the first parking spot closest to the door for me. I thought that was really nice of him. He said he doesn't want a pregnant chick falling on ice on his watch. Lol!
I still have only gained 1 pound in the last few weeks. Doc isn't worried, so I'm no longer worried. My belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger, though. I swear some days it feels like it's just going to burst open. There's nowhere left to grow. Skin is stretched to the max. It's turning purplish and blotchy due to all the stretching, and I'm suspecting I'll get my fair share of stretch marks with this pregnancy. Guess I just got super lucky with the first two. Really haven't had any changes to my symptoms. Still all the same except more pressure weekly due to the added weight. I must have had a surge in hormones at some point recently, because the acne is coming back again really bad. :( Hopefully it clears up again. We have maternity pics in three weeks exactly!

I complain about the snow every year, but it's nothing compared to what you guys get I'm sure. I see it in the news every single year. Hopefully this winter will be more mild for you than last! |
