My Journal

Basically 33 Weeks!

I'm doing my journal entry for 33 weeks a day early, because.. well... I guess because I'm just bored. I still have over an hour to be at work, and I've done everything I need to until at least noon tomorrow when our system updates again. I keep trying to stay ahead just in case I go into labor early, but then I run myself out of work for a day or two. At this point, I would be very surprised if I go into labor early. At least anytime in December. I mean... I've been dilated between 1- 1 1/2 cm since week 27, but my contractions have slowed WAY down. Only certain things trigger them now. Plus... I have been craving ice sooooo bad the last couple weeks. So I've been chugging water nonstop just to get to the ice, and then immediately refilling. So I'm definitely hydrated! I could be wrong, but I'm feeling confident she will be a 2016 baby like she should. :)
I've gained another pound in a week. I had to go to the doctor today for a rash I developed, and she said she could instantly tell by looking at me that I haven't been sleeping at all. She said sometimes sleep deprivation can cause people to lose weight or have trouble gaining it. Others... it can cause them to gain too much weight or have extra bloat. So I am really going to try to find natural ways to get more sleep and try to train my bladder to hold it a little longer. Getting up 5-6 times a night is just ridiculous. Especially having other reasons to wake up such as being uncomfortable, leg cramps, rash itching, etc. So I'm happy that I've gained another pound. It's putting me closer on track to what I should be.
Baby is definitely running out of room. I can feel her from my pelvic bone all the way to my sternum. Her rolling around and jungle gym days are coming to an end. Now it's stretching and wiggling and hard jabs occasionally. I can usually tell which body part is sticking out, and my little girls think it's funny to "tickle" her feet. Lol!
Blood sugar is still doing well. I haven't had any issues with that at all. Swelling is out of this world. I feel like a balloon most of the time. However, it gets better on the weekend. So I know it's being at work that causes me to swell so bad throughout the week. By the time I sit down at home at night, I look like I have bee allergies and was just attacked by a whole hive of them. Everywhere but my arms and face that is.
Not a whole lot left to do to prepare for this baby. So it's actually making the time drag really bad. I don't have anything to keep me busy. Even already got the Christmas shopping done. Now I'm just spending the days and nights reading about baby stuff, looking up baby stuff, wanting to order all this cute baby stuff online, etc. Lol!
I'm down to 50 days left to go! Wooo hooooo!

Yeah I really need to cut back on what I'm drinking after about 7pm. It's hard, because if I even go an hour without drinking water I start cramping and contracting again. So usually I'm drinking water almost constantly right up until I fall asleep.

I was so tired of getting up so much to potty that I stopped drinking so much, especially after dinner. It did help and by the end, I wasn't getting up at all during the night, well at least to go to the bathroom.

Amanda- Thank you! I hope time goes faster as well. So far... It's not too bad. Somedays are slower than others. I just can't believe I'm under 2 months now!

MalPal- I hear ya on the paperwork. Mine is lengthy and a pain as well. I keep procrastinating. You are getting so close! I'm jealous. You are going to have the best Christmas present ever. :)

Glad your sugar is still good! I'm to plump to begin with to be able to tell body parts lol. I'm jealous that you have everything ready! I'm pretty prepared as far as the babies room but my disability paperwork is a bitch lol. I think I finally have it under control. Congrats on 33 weeks! So close and hopefully she stays in there until after the new year!

Hopefully a busy holiday season will make time go a bit faster for all of us. I'm kind of glad we still have a lot to do on our nursery, since I certainly don't want to run out of things to do... I'm so happy things are going well for you, sugar, keep it up and bring forth a beautiful, healthy little one.
