35 weeks!

5 weeks to go. That means only 4 weeks TOPS of work left. I have decided to start my maternity leave the week before my due date if Miss Aleena doesn't come before then. I just want a week to make sure all of the housework is done, everything is in order, get a nap in each day, and do lots of walking and stretching. If it all works out like that, I might even be able to find some things to throw together for meals that I can just put in the freezer to make the first couple weeks at home with baby easier.
I did a lot of mopping and cleaning and scrubbing last night. Nesting...again. Lol! It didn't send me into labor, so I take it she just isn't ready. Same with DTDing. So that's a good sign. Yes I'm ready to NOT be pregnant. No I'm not wanting to have her early. So I have mixed emotions about it all. Lol! In 2 weeks, I'll be running marathons trying to get this baby out. ;)
The frequent urination is getting.. well... more and more frequent! I swear I spend the majority of my day around going into the bathroom. Sleep is almost non-existent. I have lots of BH's still. And I just started having issues with heartburn and indigestion last night. Thought I was in labor one of the times I woke up. Nope... just indigestion pains.
We have our maternity pics tonight! We are all really excited! We don't ever do professional pictures, so this will be quite an adventure for us all. Then after that, we are going to get some hot chocolate at the station and drive around town looking at Christmas lights for a little while. Going to be a fun night with my little family. :)
Next appointment is in another week, and then they go to weekly appointments! Yay :)

Lol! Awww well at least you're in the single digits for weeks now. That's quite an accomplishment. Hopefully the next couple weeks will go fast for all of us due to the holidays!

I feel the same way. I feel so crappy that I can't wait to not b pregnant anymore but at the same time I will miss it. Plus I don't want her to b born early so it's something I need to just put up with for 6 or 7 more weeks lol. You're almost there! Hang in there

I bet two babies is definitely much more work. I've only had one at a time, so I've always said puppies are more work than babies. Bet I would change my mind if I had twins. LOL!

I always tell my friends and family that raising animals seriously helped me with the babies. It sounds silly but it's so similar although babies take much more work.

Amanda.. my boss says the same thing. He sees me in the morning in the coffee room while I get hot water for my tea and says, "I can't believe I didn't get a call from you this morning saying you were having that baby." Lol! I have heard from a lot of people that every time Wendi (our photographer) does maternity pics, the momma goes into labor within a week. I guess we'll find out if the legend is true. Lol.
Pbc: I think you are right. At least when I have to pee or I'm uncomfortable 8 times out of ten I can immediately fall back to sleep. I have that new kitten at home that needs cuddles and love every time I get up to use the bathroom, and she keeps me up for about 20-25 minutes at least. It's definitely practice for the baby. :)
