In L&D and tired!!!

Soo... After having diarrhea every 4 hours all day, no fever, was not sick, etc I called the doctor. Cramping and contractions just kept getting worse. They said come on in. So they just checked me after being on the monitors and having regular contractions for an hour, and I'm 100% effaced, but still only 1cm dilated. But before they said it was like a fingertip 1, and now it's a full 1. So I have to sit here for 2 more hours before they check me again. I'm so tired and bored. I wish I could go to sleep. Might have a baby coming in the next day or two!! I guess we'll see. She might be teasing me!

If she comes, she will most likely not have to be intubated for long and may be able to go home with you when your ready to go! Great that she has stayed in as long as she has considering your early labor at 28-29 weeks. Try not to stress and try to relax. Hang in there!!!!

Hopefully you get to go home and have a nice Christmas with your family and aren't in hospital for Christmas Day. Best of luck :-)
