Lordy, I am so glad I got to experience at least one easy, comfortable pregnancy in my lifetime. Carrying Sebastian had been as simple as not being pregnant, especially since he never dropped and never caused me to waddle or be uncomfortable (it led to a horrible delivery though). After a few days of feeling better and less nauseated, I had a really rough day yesterday. It was overcast, due to rain at any time, and I swear it felt as if my head were about to burst wide open! I am not usually prone to pressure headaches (or headaches of any kind, really) but my husband is. Before he started taking multiple allergy medicines, he could become completely incapacitated by headaches when a storm was brewing and I got a taste of that all day yesterday so I wonder if our new baby will be predisposed to Daddy’s ailments. I wonder if it works like that… In my first pregnancy, I did have to avoid lactose because I had developed an intolerance just like my husband had when he was an infant but it disappeared within months of giving birth (though my son had acid reflux until we changed his formula after breastfeeding) so I wonder if a sensitivity to weather could have been passed on to our second child and is now causing me to suffer since we share the same blood. I don’t know if it’s possible, I’m just speculating. My digestive system is also back to being backed up again. I hate it, it makes me feel awful. I missed a few days of Miralax and I’m paying for it now. Needless to say, I’m back on schedule with it, my prenatals, tons of water and exercise. Even with my regular morning sickness fading, I’m now getting nauseated whenever I eat (I suspect there’s just no more room in there) but still get nauseated if I don’t eat. So I basically spent my entire day yesterday on the couch. Thank goodness my husband works weeknights and Mondays are his days awake and at home. He took our son to school, ran some errands, picked our son up, made dinner and even bathed our son before he left for work. I really do have a great man and I’m so blessed. So far today I have already taken a couple of Acetaminophen to head off a headache and I’m still eating tiny bits to avoid being too nauseated until my system gets moving again. I’m twelve weeks along today, so close to my second trimester, and I hope to goodness that this isn’t a pattern for the coming months… At least I can focus on planning our gender reveal brunch. Our pink/blue bath fizzies arrived to make the official announcement and I’m hoping the next 18 days don’t inch by. I’m sure they will though… *Sigh*

I too had headaches around that time and when I first entered the 2nd trimester. Weather changes didn't help but they finally went away. Hopefully, you'll get more energy and feel better especially entering the 2nd trimester. I literally thought in the early weeks I would never be able to eat a full meal again because the bloating, yuckiness, and general blah feeling was too miserable. Luckily, that went away but it took a while. Now I have the opposite problem. I'm never full!

Try to drink a bit more water - that might help with headaches.

Headaches are usually common in the twelfth week of pregnancy so it may just be to that. I am a walking barometer as well... I know when it's gonna rain, snow all from low pressure in the atmosphere but I also suffered from headaches due to hormone fluctuations and now that the placenta is taking over, your hormones will now decrease a bit. I highly doubt it has to do with your husbands genetics coming from Baby!!!! I hope your headaches subside soon... I know mine did after a week or 2.

Sorry about the headaches. Hopefully they don't continue! I still recommend switching to the gummy prenatals if you are backed up. I know you're taking something as well but the gummies do wonders!
