Stalled...

Man, I wish I had more to update... But, at my 37-week appointment today, there was absolutely no change in my condition from last week. I somehow lost a pound and a half but I don't think that's a sign of things to come.*Sigh* Sadly, my midwife is at another office for the remainder of my pregnancy so I won't be seeing her again until I'm actually in labor (or being prepped for surgery...) and the lady I saw wasn't nearly as forthcoming as I like. She doesn't measure fundus, she didn't comment on baby's heart rate, she checked my cervix but didn't say much about it so I assumed it was no different than last week, and the small talk was very brief. The only upside is that DeWayne can fly this weekend without any more concern... My symptoms have also lightened to an unbelievable degree. I'm back to being able to sleep through the night, still rarely needing to get up to pee. The lightning crotch is really the only persistent discomfort I have on a regular basis. Thankfully Caroline is still pretty active during the day or else I'd really be worried, though she does seem to have learned day and night because she no longer keeps me awake. But everything for her arrival is ready and now I'm just back to deep-cleaning the house room by room. I'm getting bored. *Chuckle*
I included a picture of my beautiful boy from our impromptu Valentine's photo shoot. It's not my best work but he's still the perfect model.
