How far along: 10 Weeks
Next appointment: 11/9/15
Gender: Should find out in December
Total weight gain/loss: -10lbs
Exercise: walking and stretching
Stretch marks: none
Swelling: none
Maternity clothes: not yet
Belly button: In
Sleep: Early waking - always tired
Food cravings: Baked Potatoes, crushed ice
Symptoms: Nausea, diarrhea, Bloating, sore hips
Movement: None
Labor signs: I hope not
What I miss: Rock climbing
What I'm loving: The thought of my baby in 7 months
What I'm looking forward to: Telling our families this weekend
In other news. Had my second prenatal visit yesterday. She assured me that all my symptoms are normal for where I am in my pregnancy which is good to hear. She then used the Doppler to hear the heartbeat. It seemed like it took forever for her to find it, but when she did it was a nice strong 160bpm! I then had to go get blood drawn (I hate needles) and get the flu shot. I think the flu shot is making me feel bad this morning, I am extra nauseous with a horrible headache. I am hoping that goes away soon. My husband and I have decided to go ahead and tell close friends and family now. We are telling our families on Saturday and I am so looking forward to it. Our parents will be first time grandparents with our child, and my grandpa has been asking since we got married when we were going to have a kid. (which I brushed off before we were trying, but was kinda hard to hear when we were actively trying and not seeing results).
Well that is all for this week. Hopefully everyone is excited about our news. I am just not sure how Ryan's sisters will take it. One is vehemently against kids and doesn't want anything to do with them, and the other i think wants kids soon (but not sure when or if they are trying). Here's to the best.
