Well we told our family on Saturday and they were all very excited for us. I think they were a little bit shocked too. It feels good having them know.
Now i am starting to worry though, I have has some slight spotting since Sunday. I know that spotting can be normal in pregnancy, but it still has me worried. I called the doctor this morning and they are going to try to get me in today just to make sure there isn't anything wrong (and probably just to ease my fear).
In other news, my nausea seems to be letting up, i was able to eat dinner at a normal time yesterday. Although some smells still put me off. I have started to get really bad headaches though. I think i will just be trading symptoms throughout this whole pregnancy. Once one goes away, another one comes.

I will update after i hear from the doctor. Hoping for good news.

Doctor got me in at lunch time and checked me out. Not sure where the spotting is coming from, but i am not actively bleeding. Got to see the little one on their old ultrasound machine. He/She was moving around a lot and we think we could see a heartbeat, but could not find it with the Doppler. They think he/she is just moving around too much. The doctor said if the spotting hasn't stopped by next week to come back in, but it doesn't look like anything is wrong.
On another note, I really like my doctors office. They don't make me feel bad for asking questions or for wanting to come in. At my appointment today they said that if i needed to be seen more often to put my mind at ease with the spotting that they can do that. So I am glad i picked this office.

That's fantastic about your doctor and them being so welcoming and reassuring. More offices need to be like that! Dopplers are great when you can get the heartbeat but when you have a moving baby or 2, it gets complicated.

Glad you're getting checked out just to make sure everything is fine. Peace of mind is definitely nice. But I'm sure you and baby are okay! I had spotting with my first pregnancy and all was well. :) Keep us updated!

I had spotting/bleeding as well from ~12 to ~15 weeks and now, at ~31 weeks, all is fine so far. I would try not to worry but glad you are getting checked out to put your mind at ease. Glad your nausea is letting up. Hopefully the headaches don't last long.
