My baby shower this past weekend was great. We had a better turnout than I expected with 14 people there. My best friend made it in from DC and a couple of my other friends drove from NY and TN. I hope that everyone had fun. I got a lot of special onesies to use and a lot of the items from my registry. Other than the car seat, we have all the basic essentials now to bring baby home. Just need to get some of the non essential items (baby bath tub, etc) that I think would make life easier.
My husband also got to spend time with the husbands while the girls were at the shower and they went and celebrated his birthday. I think it was a good time for him.
This coming weekend I have a girls day out with my mom where we will do lunch and go to a play. Can't wait to spend some one on one time with her (even though she lives close). It is always a special day. We try to do it once a month or once every other month.
Only new complaint this week is heartburn has started to rear its ugly head. I had avoided it until now, but knew it was coming.

Total weight gain/loss: 4 lb
Stretch marks: Yes
Swelling: none
Belly button: In, but probably wont be for long
Sleep: Getting up a lot to pee in the middle of the night. Coughing a lot in the middle of the night. Harder to roll over.
Food cravings: None
Symptoms: Sore Hips
Movement: Tons, Seems to be getting more active and stronger every day
Labor signs: None, not even BH
What I miss: Sushi
What I'm loving: Baby shower last weekend which was great. Turned out better than i could have hoped for.
What I'm looking forward to: Seeing a play with my mom this weekend. Some Mother-Daughter time.
