What helps my morning sickness
By mrs-daisy » Posted Jan. 23, 2016 7:06pm - 250 views - 0 comments

I thought i'd write down what's been helping my morning sickness and hopefully help others too.
It's the mornings till lunch time and around dinner that are the worst for me. after lunch till about 4pm i get a little break.
Ice water is amazing. (filtered, not tap)
The thought of water at room temperature is disgusting but ice water really helps the nausea and sipping it through a straw.
Anything with vinegar.
When i can't stomach meals, things like salad dressed with apple cider vinegar, olive oil & salt are great. as well as pickled things like gherkins.
Carbs, carbs and more carbs.
sparkling mineral water with lemon or lime (and ice!)
small cup of black tea first thing in the morning.
Soup made with a tomato base and beef stock (the broth is amazing)
Empty stomach and feeling thirsty make nausea worse so i graze and snack.
