11w3d - finally an OB appt booked!

Ugh... the last 3.5 weeks have been a nightmare!! My RE's office was supposed to send my referral to the OBGYN in my city that had done my dermoid/ovary removal surgery back in 2011. There is also a maternity clinic in my city but I have heard great things and really loved the doctor that did my surgery. Well I waited about a week and still hadn't heard anything so I called the OB office- they hadn't received my referral. I called my RE office and they hadn't sent it! She said she'd send it that day... waited another week and still no contact! Called the OB office, still didn't have it. I left a message with the RE office patient coordinator to resend. I didn't receive a call back but assumed she would send it. Called the OB again a few days later... still nothing! I called the nurses line at my REs office as I seemed to get a better response that way and left a message saying I'm now over 10 weeks and they would have liked to see me in my 10th week but won't without my referral. The MOAnat the OBs office had also been leaving messages looking for the referral. I got a snarky message back from the RE coordinator, saying they had sent it 3 times blah blah blah. Finally get a call Thursday (right before long weekend) that they received my referral (REs office had been sending to wrong fax number!). Finally just heard from the OB and I finally have an appt on Sunday at the mat clinic at the hospital. I will be 12w1d at that time. I can't wait. I hope I'm able to get another ultrasound! I've been listening to the heartbeat with my Doppler at home every few days so I know he's still in there! (I'm convinced it's a boy).
