OB Appointment!

Today was my first OB appointment after seeing Dr. Harvey this past Monday. The visit was very simple, in that no sonogram was done but praise the Lord we got to hear the heartbeat. It was beating away at 160 bpm. Such a wonderful sound. I cried. My OB, Dr. Richards again recommends that we wait until I am out of the first trimester to have my MRI, so that is what we are going to do. We might even wait a little longer than that. Hubby really wants to wait until the baby is born, so we are going to discuss some more. Back in baby news, in two weeks we go for the downs syndrome testing. We will have a sonogram where they will measure a membrane in the back of the babies neck and take some blood from me. I cannot wait to see my little one again. Two weeks after that I will go back and see Dr. Richards. Whew, it has been such a whirlwind of doctor's appointments I am glad they are starting to get back to normal. Overall I feel great and I am looking forward to the weeks ahead.
