6 weeks- Again!

How Far Along: 6 Weeks again! I had my ultrasound this week and it showed that I was a week less far along than predicted by my LMP (though I wasn't surprised because I was pretty sure of the day I ovulated based on symptoms and was correct). So all of my past journal entries should be moved back a week.

How Big is/are the Baby(ies): The size of a sweet pea!

Symptoms: Increased sense of smell, nausea and vomiting, more frequent urination. This isn't really a symptom but the ultrasound found a large cyst on my left ovary.

Emotions: Much more stable this week.

Something Funny That Happend: Somehow my husband thought I was seeing a psychiatrist this week (I guess because I was so emotional last week) but I was really seeing my OB. So after my appointment, he asked me what the doctor said and I told him I they found a big cyst on my left ovary. He asked me why a psychiatrist was looking at my ovaries!

Best moment of the Week: seeing my peanut on the ultrasound, hearing the heartbeat (129!) and getting an accurate due date!

Movement: I can't tell if I'm feeling it or just gas. But when I'm still at night I swear I sometimes feel something exactly like the early movements in my last pregnancy. But it seems too early... On the other hand, people say you can feel it sooner after your first pregnancy.

Weight Gain: well I lost four pounds since my pregnancy started but I gained one pound back this week so I guess my net weight gain is negative three pounds!

Maternity Clothes: Not yet

Stretchmarks: None yet! :)

Sleep: Waking up a couple times a night to use the bathroom.

Food cravings: No cravings but I've found that a glass of milk or yogurt helps my nausea.

Gender Predictions: I have no clue. I want to say it is a girl because this pregnancy is so different than with my son but I know that doesn't really mean anything.

What I Miss: Nothing yet

What I'm Looking Forward To: Telling my husband as a Christmas present!

Weekly Wisdom: the old "saltines in bed" trick doesn't work for everyone... Threw those up the other day!

Milestone: First ultrasound and heartbeat!

Question(s): Anyone else ever have a large ovarian cyst during a pregnancy?

A cyst was found on my right ovary during my first two ultrasounds too but i was told not to worry about it and it will shrink as the pregnancy progresses and it is not dangerous in anyway so I am not really bothered
