13w2d: Five days left... then HELLO second trimester!

I've been exhausted lately. I'm a little over twelve weeks now, and still have just awful morning sickness.

Every. Single. Morning. I wake up with the same thing: nausea, vomiting, bloating, gas... I thought I was supposed to be over this by now?! Luckily it's mostly just in the morning, but I still don't have much of an appetite... I just feel so BLAH still! I can't wait to start feeling better again. I haven't been able to sleep good in weeks... I guess I can officially welcome myself to motherhood as far as sleep is concerned. But it would be so nice to just lay down and pass out for eight hours without having to wake up every hour to pee....

And because I get up so early for work (I usually wake up around 4:30 or 5:00) I'm always extremely sick on the way there. Pleease pass soon! Me and Robert always joke about how this child is already giving me a hard time and s/he's not even out of the womb yet! I have a feeling my hands are going to be FULL!

I'm really embracing pregnancy now. I'm starting to show even more, and my mom, whenever I see her, rubs my stomach and asks me, "How's my baby doing?" It's nice to have her be there and be so supportive. She made me laugh the other night because we were sitting on the couch watching TV and she's skimming through a magazine when she sees an advertisement for Carter's clothing. She goes, "Oh look at the cute babies... I can't wait until my baby's born!" It cracked me up.

Other than that not much new and exciting. Hanging in there. I don't see my doctor again until June 14... so a ways to go. Hopefully I'll find out for SURE what I'm having either next month or July.... I can't wait :) Even though we're already convinced it's a girl... but we will see!
