38 week appointment...FML.

I have SO badly wanted to do this VBAC, and it's really not looking promising. Still not dilated, not effaced, and baby went from the -2 station to the -3 station so he's still not engaged in the birth canal but is head down. I am so dissapointed, I only have 16 days until the scheduled c-section and I would do ANYTHING to avoid having it done and go into labor on my own so I can at least try the VBAC. I really want to hold him immediately, be drug free besides the antibiotics for the positive strep-B culture, and not have such a difficult recovery. Trying to remain positive, but shit... I'm pretty depressed.

 | Comment from DanielleS » Posted Sep. 27, 2012 9:33am I'm in the same boat, but 4 weeks behind you! I really want a VBAC too, but I'm going on the fact that I'll probably just end up having a C section. That way I can't be disappointed. UGH but I hear ya. |
