For once I'm going to put some good news on here! (:
I talked to Dennis, my moms cousin, and land lord. Turns out we get an extra month in the apartment! That's great news considering we were supposed to have to move out by my due date (the 30th) and hadn't found a single place! PLUS he is going to talk to the owner of the building and see if maybe we can stay for as long as we like (and maybe for less rent even)! That takes a huge weight off my shoulders and completely eases my mind. We love our apartment, and it would help us out so much to stay. OH, and since Dennis is moving, we might be able to switch into his apartment (it's much nicer since it has newer appliances, newer counters, newer everything, a bath tub and shower, 3 bedrooms, and a laundry room).. I'm expecially excited about the laundry, since right now we lug it to my parents house to do. I wouldn't even care if he couldnt get rent lowered, and we couldn't have his old apartment, the one we have is already worth every penny!
I'm nesting these days! I've cleaned the entire apartment, including the walls! The nursery isn't quite done, but it's getting there! I cleaned out the car Yesterday, and other than the baby stuff in the back it's spotless! I'm almost completely packed for the hospital too! Just a few more things and the bag is all ready. Mom bought me a robe to ware for labor/post labor. And a night gown, it's so cute. Everything she's doing for me means so much. I feel so horrible for how crappy I made our relationship be in the past. I'm so glad she can look past that and still be here for me. She is an amazing woman, and even when we didn't get along I never once doubted how good of a mom she was. I'm proud of the way I was raised, and hope I can be half as great as she is. Adam seems pretty excited lately. I have a feeling he'll have a hard time with the baby after he realizes its not so easy, and am betting he will get frusterated, but either way I know he will face it head on no matter what and be a stand up daddy. I'm proud of how much he's grown this year. He's done a complete 180! I love the people in my life, I can't wait to get to add the baby to the list of people I'm blessed with! <3
