Well, today I am 12 weeks along! Overall, I'm feeling pretty great. My nausea has eased up considerably (it was going strong up until last week), and the only major symptom lately is fatigue. I can't wait for that part to ease up. I can't even go to the gym without feeling exhausted after about 15 minutes.
I haven't had any weight gain at all (in fact, I'm mostly fluctuating within the same three pounds), and I actually look thinner in my face, but I've gained 4 inches of belly. I have started to wear a Belly Band since my pants/shorts no longer close.
I have my first appointment with the perinatologist in 2 days, and I'm so excited! This is the appointment when I will find out if my twinkies are mo/mo or mo/di. This will mean the difference in possible comlications, so I'm very anxious to find that out. I also just want some reassurance that things are going well and my little beans are still going strong. They will scan me with a high-tech ultrasound (whatever that means). I hope it means that I can see their little features more clearly. :-)
I will update after my appointment on Tuesday.
Until then,
Hugs and super sticky baby dust to all you mamas!
