We had a scan because I was in Emergency from 11pm to 6.30am experiencing sharp cramps on my left side.. doctor was worried I had an ectopic, but the scan has ruled that out!
Here is our little spec! :) In the right spot and measuring at 4 weeks and 5 days.. although the ultrasound tech put my due date as the 18th of March 2014. From my dates I worked out the 22nd of March. We worked out my sharp pains were from discomfort due to big corpus luteum on my left ovary :)

I didn't actually have a scan at the hospital, they gave me a referral to get one and I booked it in for later that day :) I had a blood test positive where my hcg was 494 and I did do a urine ssmple but the test came back negative because I had drank 4 bottles of water and had already used the bathroom 20mins before havinh to pee to give the urine sample.. so hcg didn't have time to build up at all. |
