Q: What happened to you when you miscarried?

I'm not saying I am miscarrying but I've been having mild cramps and had a light brown discharge. and my lower back is killing me. Also the cramps go away when I eat. And I had and internal exam yesterday. I am just curious and scared. Thanks.

I just miscarried, like last night. I was sent to the ER by my OB yesterday afternoon for some brown discharge that I had been having for the past four days. After 6 hours in the ER, I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage. I would have been 7 weeks today and the ultrasound measured the sac at only 5w2d. There was no fetal pole and no heart rate either. My HCG levels were only at 1000, so I pretty much knew what was happening. It was an emotional day with a lot of crying. By the time I came home it was time for bed. I had a huge migraine from crying and no being able to eat dinner. I woke up after a few hours of sleep with intense period cramps. I got up to go to the bathroom and sure enough, I was miscarrying. AF was in full force. I couldn't sleep for the next 2-3 hours. One because of the pain and two because the saddness and frustration was just keeping me up. Poor DH; he had to work early this morning and I kept him up.

the brown discharge is most likely from the internal, so i wouldnt worry about that (easier said then do tho!) and camps are very normal in early pregnancy.

When i miscarried, i was rocking my son in the rocking chair and i felt something,,, wet. i went to the bathroom and there was blood just running down my legs. there was no slight bleeding to warn me, not even pink discharge. it just all happened at once. also, i had no pain or cramps at all. I was 10 weeks along. they always say cramps are a sign, but not for me. i had no signs! looking back i should have suspected something wasnt right because i had no symptoms. i often said " if i didnt see a positive i would swear im not pregnant"

anyway, thats how mine happened but i dont think thats going to happen to you. take care! dont worry :) things will be fine.
