Don't worry! It doesn't make any sense to stop living because some ancient culture couldn't conceptualize out past a certain date. If the world ends, oh well. If it doesn't, that horrible lady is going to feel really stupid December 22.

I really firmly believe everything will be fine.

lol, how many times was the world meant to end...... heaps!! Even if it does end, there really isnt much you can do about it! So dont waste your time worrying.

I read recently that when the Mayan Calendar ends, it was not a signal that the world was ending, but rather that they just started over. Its a new beginning. What better time could there be to bring a baby into the world?

The way I see it... whatever happens is going to happen and not much use in worrying about it. Their calander also didn't include a leap year so like the previous poster said... we've already lived through it. Our calander comes to an end also on December 31 every year... just like theirs, but theirs is just a very long cycle. The 21st is the start of the Winter solstice (first day of winter) and that is all. Don't worry hun, you will meet you're baby soon and I hope that horrible women regrets what she said to you when she wakes up on Dec. 22.

Mayan's didn't predict that we would make February have only 28 days. Technically, the world should have ended like 100 years ago if we had stuck to the Mayan calendar.
