I had an epidural with my first and I plan on getting one again with this one. They let me control how much I needed, but when the time came I could just FEEL that it was time to push and they let me go by my body's wishes. I didn't feel much, but I felt a little which was weird. It didn't hurt, it just felt really funny. I had a headache later on but that may have been because I was so scared of needles that I kept tensing up when they gave me the epidural. Personally, I loved it. I got the epidural at 10 am and I was 6 cm dilated, and my son was out by 12:35 that afternoon with zero complications.

I never got an epidural while I was had my baby, I did it all natural hence that's the way anyone should do it unless they absolutely have to use drugs. I find it selfish that moms drug their babies because of the natural pain that birthing has, ofcourse its going to hurt :). One thing no one told me though, contractions is the painful part and pushing the baby out is a relief! It doesn't hurt while pushing the baby out

When i had my an epidural with my first I didn't feel him out crown at all. I will be having the same this time round too. Only thing i found difficult is not being about to move my legs, but as Idsmommy2 said they can let you control the numbness which is brilliant news for me too! Thankyou. and good luck mommytobe!
