Q: no heartbeat detected at 6 in a half weeks? normal?

i went to the hospital yesterday for alittle bleeding the dr said everything was completely normal they ran a bunch of test that came back normal also. but he said in the ultrasound they couldn't detect a heartbeat. did anyone else experience that at almost 7 weeks?

I'm measuring 6 weeks 6 days and there's no heartbeat yet. My doctor said there should be, but she's not willing to give up hope just yet. I'm going for another ultrasound on March 5th and we'll find out for sure then.
