Q: No ultrasound till 10 weeks?

I see all the ultrasound pics at 5,6,and 7 weeks but the few doctors I chose won't see anyone till 10 weeks, Wth? Do they only do that if your high risk or on fertility drugs?

Yes, typically, unless you have a high risk pregnancy or an emergency before your first appointment. The reason you have one so early when doing fertility treatments is to establish how many (often there is a risk of multiples) and ensure viability. It's really the least they can do for you anyway after injecting yourself with hormones and going through the whole struggle of infertility. Once they establish it is a healthy pregnancy they release you to a regular doctor.

Typically I think so. I had one around 6 weeks with daughter because I was having spotting and had suffered a miscarriage prior. I had asked for one since I was concerned of losing the baby.
