I have the identical problem. Felt like I couldn't stop drinking water up to five weeks, then it became like a poison. Just thinking about it or looking at it is enough to make me heave. It tastes gross. I was the same with my first pregnancy too. I wish there was more info on it. I don't usually drink fizzy drinks but at the moment Sprite seems to go down ok.

I don't like pop either but for some reason sparkling water doesn't bloat my stomach the way soda does. I like to take sparkling water, muddle some berries in the bottom, add a slice of lime or lemon and ice and put it in a wine glass so it feels "special". oh how clever we get when booze isn't an option....

I'm not a pop drinker so its pretty much been juice and milk for the past week but there is only so much of that a person can drink! Thanks for the ideas to jazz up the water, ill give it a try

I didn't have an aversion to water, but i found it really turned my stomach, like it was too heavy. so i have been on juices (diluted not to get too much sugar, grape/cranberry, and OJ) and milk, but i agree, you have to keep hydrated. also during the heat waves, bought a bunch of mr. Freezes and they were good too. Someone had suggested to me sparkling water wouldn't do that (but i don't generally like so i haven't tired it yet.)

I too have never heard of that.. But I agree with Shannybum. Try spicing it up a little.. But make sure you are hydrated..

Never had that - add fresh lemon or cuke slices to the water. Or even try club soda or sparkling water with a splash of cranberry juice.
