I knew at 6 weeks. The result of the bleed was a subchorionic hematoma, and it resolved itself fairly quickly, although still at 12w5d I still have light brown spotting from time to time. It seems like the old blood clearing itself from the uterus.

Thats great news!!! Take it easy and you will be fine. My spotting stopped after a week but my hematoma was a little different. I am so glad that both your little babies are doing and growing great!!! It sucks that some of us cant have a easy start to our pregnancies :-) It only makes us stronger!!!

Well.... not what I expected! I went in thinking I was going to lose Baby B We just saw 2 heartbeats, and both babies are doing well! I have a subchorionic bleed, meaning my placenta seemed to rip away from the uterus wall a bit, but the Dr. says that as long as the baby is still growing and the bleeding resolves itself within a day or so, there are no worries!

Thanks. Seems like the red stuff has subsided for now and I just have spotting. I didn't have any hematomas on my last scan but who knows? Anything can happen! I have an appt this morning at 11 to see what is going on. I will keep you all posted!

Hi! I only have the one bean but I had a similar gush last monday (a week ago now) and when they did a scan they found a harmless perisac hematoma (blood clot from implantation) that had caused my bleed and brown spotting since. I know its hard but try and stay postive and have faith that both your babies will be ok. One may just be developing a little slower then the other.
