Yes what your feeling is normal. As you can see by everyone's answers. It's not easy being a after loss er. If you ever need to talk things out I will be willing to listen. I am on my 5th pregnancy and hopefully second baby.

Congrats! It is totally normal to feel that way. My last two pregnancies ended in m/c. I am now happy to say I'm a little over 7 weeks pregnant with twins! (Crazy right!?) The best thing you can do is to take care of yourself... eating right, getting some activity if your doctor allows (I'm on limited activity right now probably til the 2nd trimester), and getting your rest. Everything else will fall right in place for you. Just make sure you're taking care of yourself, and it will be fine. I definitely understand what you're feeling right now. I am very excited, but very apprehensive that just when I get really excited something will go wrong.

I know exactly how you feel... you have to make a conscious decision everyday to NOT WORRY. It is much easier for the worry and doubt to creep in, but you have to constantly push those thoughts back out of your mind. I am not going to pretend for one minute that I'm not scared or that I don't think about the potential of another m/c. But I don't dwell on it. That stress is poisonous for you and your baby. Another buddy on here (knicole) said it best â??There is NO fear in perfect love - I have remained positive throughout this entire pregnancy even in all my scares in this pregnancy I still remain optimistic and KNOW this pregnancy WILL result in a live full term birth of a healthy baby. Fear is not holding me back anymore. I don't even consider a miscarriage in my future.â?? â?? Whenever I've been scared or have doubt, I go back and read that â?¦ it really helps. :-)

I feel the same way. I want to jump for joy, but I feel so anxious that history will repeat. We were supposed to be expecting our first in May, but lost that pregnancy in Nov and were pretty surprised when we just found out we were pregnant again. I just feel like I won't be able to relax until I hear that heatbeat. You are definatly not alone for feeling on the edge. These forums have been a great support for me getting through our miscarriage, and I hope it will sort of keep me calm for this pregnancy.

I m/c Sept 2009 at 13 weeks so I know its hard to deal with especially if you become pregnant again not long after. I found out I was pregnant with my son in January 2010 and trust me I worried like none other over every little thing the whole pregnancy. Now pregnancy#3 and I'm still worried,I think after 13 weeks I'll feel a little better, its like a superstition for me I guess, get past week 13 and everything will be ok I know silly but it helps calm my paranoia some. Congrats on the pregnancy and sending sticky vibes your way.
