Q: Anyone thought they knew what they where having and it was different & unexpected?

Just wondering if anyone thought they knew what they where having all along and then had your scan and it was totally not what you expected?

I personally didn't have a clue what i was having, but EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE was convinced I was having a girl, they'd say "your bump is high, its a girl" ..." your 12 week scan looks like a girl"... etc etc !!! The chinese gender predictor said girl, numerous online quizzes I did said Girl.

Well I found out last week I'm having a Boy! haha!

I was almost sure I was expecting a boy (perhaps because my hubby wanted it quite badly).. but ultrasounds at 16, 20 and 24 weeks confirmed it's a girl!

I was convinced 100% that I was having a girl based on family history and symptoms and such. Had my first ultrasound and it was very clearly a boy. I made a point of only buying very gender neutral items until we knew the gender.

Oh wow i wonder how many people that has happen to, i dont wanna do up a nursery then find out its something else ill try look carefully so i def know what it is...i heard boys parts are pretty visible.

I was told I was having another boy at my 20wk scan. After the baby was born, my midwife asked me if id looked to see what id had, I said no, I already know its a boy...She unwrapped baby and what did I see?? Girl bits!!! I actually cried I was so happy lol.

Since your 19 weeks I am guessing this happened to you??!?! ..I am 13 weeks 2 days and honestly from the beginning I keep thinking girl.. but I am the only one. Everyone else, family and friends even strangers.. say boy. So we will see soon in a few more weeks who was right.. them or me. lol. Either way I will be totally stoked though.

Iv'e been thinking mine is a boy from the start and wanted a boy, now i dont care what it is, but scan is on wednesday ill b very very suprised if its a girl.

i thought i was having a boy in the beginning with my daughter then a week before the scan i just knew i was going to have a girl. right now i am positive this one is a girl. i still have 6-8 weeks before i know for sure
