Don't give up hopes!! I went in 6 weeks 2 days for an ultrasound and only found a 5 weeks 3 days empty sac... 2 weeks later I went in, we saw a yolk sac, the baby with a heartbeat!! You may just be early :)

I was too in shock on the phone to ask any questions. He told me then transferred me to the receptionist to make an appointment for next Wednesday. I have been having light spotting for about 2 weeks, which is why we did an ultrasound so early. But he hasn't even done any blood work. I dont know what to think right now, I'm just preparing for the worst.

I went in at 5 weeks 6 days and all they could see was a g/s and a y/s. No baby yet. I would give it another week then go back. By 7 weeks, you should be able to see something. Are your dates rights? Maybe you are earlier than you think?
