I've currently got a lot of friends who are pregnant, and they spend a lot of time complaining about their OHs, and the fact that they don't have to go through the hell of pregnancy. So I just wanted to say that I know it's really hard for us all, but I think it's pretty hard for our partners as well. Ok, they don't have to throw up, get heartburn, stretch marks or all the other pregnancy nasties - but since my MS has started, my OH has been doing all the washing up, laundry, cleaning, making me whatever food I want whenever I want it, stroking my hair, singing to me when I feel sick...and he never complains. I get calls every day from family and friends asking how I'm feeling and coping, but nobody fusses over him and how exhausting it must be having a pregnant girlfriend.
I just know that, however hard pregnancy can be on me, there's no way I'd manage without him and his support - so I'll forgive him for still being able to do the things I can't! :)
