Q: Boy or Girl???

Wanted to see what people thought I maybe having, a boy or girl? I am 18 week and go in 1 week to my anatomy scan! I have 2 little girls already and lost a boy 8 months ago at 14 weeks pregnant. My symptoms with the girls were totally the same, sick, sick, and sick. Lost 15lbs with both of them and landed in the ER for dehydration with both of them. BUT this pregnancy is a total opposite, not sick, have not gained or lost any weight, no problems what so ever, most days don't even feel pregnant! Wondering if this could be the boy we are hoping for but of course just want a healthy baby in the end!

Did you ever do the needle test? It's fun. It has been right for me, my mom and my 2 sisters. You take a threading needle on a string, rub the needle on your thumb about 7-9 times then hold the string over the palm of your hand. If it goes in circles it's a girl, if it goes back and forth it's a boy, when it stops your done having children. It goes in birth order. Example: Mine went back and forth the first time and I had a boy and this time it's going in circles so hopefully it's right and I'm having a girl this time. :) It went in circles 2x for my sister and she had 2 girls and back and forth 2x for my other sister and she had 2 boys. Just something fun. I'm not relying on it, but it's fun to do.

oy with this one I have been sicker than sick. I ended up in the ER a few times for dehydration and also lost about 15 lbs in the first trimester. My hair has been dull and brittle and yuck. Not too much acne though. I have had maybe two zits this entire pregnancy... and.. I am having a boy. Everyone kept telling me with how sick i was and how haggard i looked I was having a girl but nope. Every pregnancy is different. With me my mom got sick maybe one time and felt great, my brother she was sicker than a dog for 6 months. My good friend has a son already. She was not sick with him at all.. this time around sicker than a dog! and craved sweets.. thought for sure a girl because it was so different than her last pregnancy.. nope another boy for her too.. so really who knows! but it is kinda fun to look at the old wives tales even though they all still say girl for me.. and thats def a hotdog between my babies legs ;)

With my son I was rarely sick, didn't have acne problems, didn't feel pregnant till I started to pop out like a balloon(gained 32lbs by time I had him) or could feel him moving around. No BH, leg cramps, nothing. This time I started the nauseous like a week before my missed period and sick all the time till around maybe 14-15 weeks now it's just occasional. I feel ugly instead of glowing and pretty, acne sucks, have the BH, leg cramps, restless sleep, have trouble keeping weight on(last appointment I had only gained 1.2 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight) so I was convinced this time it was a girl, but nope it's defiantly another boy lol.

LOl You sound JUST like me. With my 2 daughters I was SICK SICK SICK but with my 2 Boys I was GREAT. felt like a MILLION bucks with very few symptoms or sickness. If you are feeling great I'd say def boy. I have always predicted based on my symptoms and I have never been wrong in knowing what I was carrying before the doc could tell!

my first 2 I had morning sickness starting at 4 weeks and lasting the whole 9 months, lost weight in the first trimester with both. (Both Girls) With this one morning sickness didn't kick in till 6 weeks and was gone by week 17 and didn't have it everyday. I gained 10 pounds in the first 10 weeks. Thought for sure I was having a boy, nope another girl. Chinese predictor said girls with the first 2 (correct), and a boy with this one. (wrong) I wouldn't really read to much into symptoms and charts, they are all just old wise tales.

Hmm, not sure about the chinese prediction test. I got a girl for this pregnancy and went back and did my girls to see if it was right and it told me that they both were boys! So not believing this test so much! But thanks for sharing, it still could be true for this pregnancy :)

Do the chinese predictor test.. I did with me, my brother and my sister using my mother's age at the time and for all of us the predictor was right if my mom had used it in the time;) amazing :) I did it and the result for me was a Girl.. I was pregnant but lost the baby and I was sure it was a boy so I did the chinese prediction in the same day I did for this current pregnancy and it show me I was pregnant with a boy like as I felt.. So I believe it works kkkk It is so fun.. Just do it before your scan and let me know if it worked to you ;) good luck
