Q: Twins But Heart beat in only one!

I just had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and 1 day. Baby 1 had a heart beat of 123 but there was no heart beat in second one as doctor measured it to be 4-5 days smaller than the first one and expects that the heart beat will come in another 4-5 days. Any body in the same boat ever?? Please help me!!!!

Thank you! Well i had one more emergency ultrasound at 8 weeks beacuse i had a little brown spotting. The US revealed heartbeat in both but in the smaller sac there was some blood seen that is the reason i was spotting! Iam now on 2 weeks rest and HCG injections every week for a month ! My babies too are almost 4-5 days apart..that should not be an issues but the smaller one should grow normally..so Iam keeping my fingers crossed. How is it going for you?

Im in same boat. Baby B measures 4 days younger than baby A. Heartbeat now visible but too far back to hear it during ultrasound. Im 8wks 2days today. My edd is 4/1/13. 6 wks along is still pretty early & barely readable on ultrasound. And if one babys still in 5th wk it makes sense not to be able to see a heart beat yet. I wouldnt panick just yet (i know easier said than done). Ur ob should sched another ultrasound in a few wks. Good luck & keep me posted on how things go.
