Q: Tmi sorry, the feeling of bm

im 37+ weeks and keep having the urge to move my bowels. i only go 2 or 3 times a week which is completely normal for me but i dont ever have that feeling in between bowel movements.

i have also started to lose my mucus plug, could this be a sign that my body is getting ready?

Something I learned about labor with my own experience and with some mof my friends is sometimes back labor can show as the feeling to have a bm that never goes away. Also, if you are losing your plug it means that your cervix is ripening and it is normal for how far along you are. I would say if the feeling for needing to have a bm doesnt go away or gets stronger talk to your OB.
