Q: HCG Numbers = Twins???

Mu Hubby likes to joke and scare the crap out of me about twins (of course twins would be a blessing but sounds very scary at the same time.)
Here are my betas:
13 dpo - 12
17dpo - 167
24 dpo (or 5 weeks, 3 days) - 7500
This is doubling about every 30 hours or 1.3 days
My Hubbys comments sent me into a tailspin reading on the internet and I'm nervous now!! Not just from the numbers but from the fact that I have dropped more than one egg in a cycle before. Any words of wisdom Ladies? Thanks :)

Your numbers look awesome. Mine were very similar to your and in fact a little higher and almost 12 weeks and three ultrasounds later there is only one. Sounds like a healthy sticky baby to me :-)

a healthy pregnancy will reflect a doubling of HCG every 30-48 hours. mine were almost the same as yours and i am carrying just one.

At around the same time (5 weeks)...mine went from a level 519 and almost 4,300 two days later!! I am now 32 weeks along and just carrying one baby. Try not to stress too much. Many times, high numbers don't necessarily mean multiple babies. You'll just have to wait for an ultrasound to confirm how many babies you have in there! :)
Good luck!

I doubled about every 28-30 hours for the first couple weeks of blood tests. Only one baby in there! My MIL scared me with the same thoughts!!!

perfectly fine. From what I have firgured out about the same doubling time for me. I know for a fact there is only one in there.
I was actually bugging my man it was twins because at about 18dpo or less my level was 102. Also got a really early positive and the clear blue with conception indicator skipped a result for me.
Sounds like you got a really strong bean in there to me.
