I had proper full on bleeding and my cervix was still closed, is it possible that your cervix could be grazed maybe through sex or something.

I have had brown spotting throughout most of my pregnancy (still do today and I am 24 weeks). I wear a panty liner everyday. My baby has been fine and healthy and my doctor has not had any concerns. He just tells me to tell him if I have contractions, it gets worse, or turns bright red. As long as you have told your doctor and it is brown I would not worry too much. Brown is old blood. Try not to worry to much and just keep your doctor informed of what is going on with your body. I am sure you and baby will be just fine.

How far along are you? Did the doctor say it might be a threatened miscarriage? Or is that what you are thinking? Is it a lot of spotting or just a little? Brown spotting is old blood....which is a lot better than red. Are you having cramping? If not, that is a good sign. I know it is hard not to worry....but to me, it seems like a normal occurance in early pregnancy. The fact that you dont have red spotting or bleeding is a good thing. You didnt mention cramping....so another positive thing in your corner. Dont overread anything on the internet either! You want to know why?.....with my first son....I had bright red bleeding....a lot too...at 7 weeks pregnant....we thought for sure it was over. Our son will now be 10 next month. Just goes to show you things can happen that scare the sh*t out of you and in the end, all is fine.

I hope for the best for you!
