I also know two people named Alyssa, but I wouldn't say it's common. I think a two-syllable middle name would sound nice. Alyssa Joelle, Alyssa Noelle, Alyssa Brielle (I'm partial to the "elle" sound, as my middle name is Janelle). Alyssa Nicole...Alyssa Marie is actually very nice, too. Mix the non-traditional first with a classic middle.

I personally do not care for the name marie but it is very well liked by most.....I think that Alyssa Michelle sounds great along with Alyssa Ann (but again common name...its my middle lol) but my favorite that rolls off the tongue well is Alyssa Michelle....

Alyssa Kate
Alyssa Lynn
Alyssa Christine
Alyssa Ann
Alyssa doesn't have any harsh sounds to it (like names that end with an N, R or IE) so it really seems to go with everything! Good luck!

You could use your last name as a middle name. This is a tradition in my family.

I have a cousin and a SIL named Alyssa, in fact, once I'm pregnant, I'm considering the name, too. One is Alyssa Jill and the other is Alyssa Marie.

Alyssa is a very popular name here, everyone has it. IM IN LIVERPOOL UK.
not many people have common names any more, so cant really call them common. I like old names like Katie Emily etc. I am having a boy I already have 2 boys and a girl Daniel Ben and Katie , its so hard to name another boy, because all normal names are taken by family, and I hate weird names like River

I like Alyssa! What were some of your other name options and see if one of those fit as a middle name. It doesn't have to be a common middle name :)
