Q: Baby Girl Names

So my DH and I are trying to come up with some names for our baby girl who is due in April. We are using Marie as the middle name because it is both of our mothers middle name. I have come up with a few but DH only really liked 2 of them. What do you think of Jade Marie, or Brynn Marie?I also liked Jemma, but DH doesnt like that. We are both teacher and coaches and are trying to come up with a name that isnt used in our district. Any ideas on some unique unpopular names that would go good with Marie? Thanks in advance :-)

Is the name pronounced "Brian" or "Br-in"? Sorry to have to ask, but people don't always spell things the way they sound. I think Brynn (not Brian) is a beautiful name and goes well with Marie. Luckily, Marie is a pretty versatile name and goes with so many others. We chose the name Alice for our baby, if its a girl. Good luck!

We are going with Savannah for a girl and it would go well with Marie. It is not as popular now as it used to be and I don't know anyone recently that has used Savannah so that was another reason we liked it.

Out of the two I like Brynn Marie better :) Though if your husband tends to be the picky one you might consider having him flip through a baby name book (or website) and then looking at what he comes up with. This is what my husband and I did and he ended up coming up with the perfect girls' name... though we found out a week later we were having a boy, so that didn't help :P

Best of luck to you both!

Congrats! We are due in April too!!! We decided on Anabelle Grace, however Anabelle Marie sounds good too! We also liked Cora and Caroline which both go well with Marie as a middle name as well! =) So many choices, it's crazy!

I love Brynn Marie...what a beautiful name!
Marie is my little girls name (she's 2 months old on Wednesday).
Her name is Amelia Marie.

Nevaeh Marie would be really pretty. I'm pregnant with a girl and due in March. When my sister was pregnant with her son, she wanted a girl and I helped her come up with the name Nevaeh. Not a very common name that I know of.

LOVE the name Brynn!

We liked Paige and Peyton for a girl....but those might be considered popular....

I'd say look at the top 100 baby names for 2011 (or 2012 if it's out yet) and scroll down to names #50-#100...those are the least popular! See if you can find something there...

Congrats!! We are also due in april with a girl, and we decided we like Emma, which is rather close to Jemma. But I like Brynn Marie better than Jade :D
