Q: Vaginal dryness in third trimester? (Sorry if TMI)

Okay, so I've had increasing problems with vaginal and vulva dryness over the past two weeks and it seems to be getting worse over the past 2 or 3 days. At first I was thinking it was a yeast infection just because it was a bit itchy, but I am pretty sure that the itchiness is from the irritation of the dryness as I don't have any other yeast infection symptoms. The baby has been moving down during this time and really dropped yesterday (onto my pubic bone!), so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Has anyone else experienced this??

Omg I had horrible vaginal dryness with my first pregnancy to the point that I would tear. My daughter is now 14 weeks old and I am almost 6 weeks and already I am having bouts of severe dryness again. I found the only way I could get any relief was to lay the tub, I would sometimes wake up at 2 -3 in the morning andhave to get interesting tub cause it was so painful.

I would call and ask your doctor. Im sure it's probably just fine but if it is an infection or something you will want to get that taken care of before baby comes. Good luck :)
