I went to the doctors for a follow up u/s and he confirmed I am pregnant with twins. But at this tie was only seeing 1 heartbeat. I go bc on he 26th for another u/s. Should I be worried at all, Has anyone else been through this before.

I just found out today that I am having twins (likely fraternal). I am 7 weeks 2 days pregnant and we only got one heart beat as well. But that is completely normal!! It's not until the middle of the 7th week that the heart beat will be strong enough to be easily detected in an ultrasound. We also saw on the ultrasound that one twin's yolk sack is slightly smaller than the other, which means the one likely implanted later (and is a day or two younger). Again the ultra sound tech said it was just a few days too early to detect little twin's heart beat.

i had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks.. there were 2 clear sacs but heartbeat only in one..the technician called me again after 2 weeks and she found HB in the other one as well...there was a differnce of abt 3-4 days in both my twins so probably that was the reason :) Dont worry you may get one more US done in a few weeks..!

if your only 6 weeks its still early! and especially if your not going to a specialist or something and just an OB who doesn't have the best of machines!
wait until your appt on the 26th , by then it should pick up both
IF IT WAS THAT SERIOUS they would've told you so don't stress yourself and them babieS out!

Your profile shows you are only 6weeks pregnant which is early to see a heart beat so I would assume you'll see two at your next US and all is well! Congrats!!

If you are still early, it can be hard to get heartbeats. If you are past 10-12 weeks then I would be more concerned, but even then it could just be lower than the other sibling and harder to hear.
