Q: Is it safe to prepare for my baby at 24 weeks pregnant?

I found out i'm having a boy a little under a month ago. It's a normal pregnancy... And everything at the ultrasound came back fine. I'm 24 weeks pregnant now and I want to buy baby stuff. Not just clothes, but a crib, bassinet, lotions, stock up on diapers, etc. I don't want to wait until week 34 or anything and be in a hurry to get stuff and be huge and miserable shopping for the stuff, so I was wondering if it's too early to start buying a bunch of stuff or if it's safe that I can. And when did you start buying baby stuff?

i would deffinatly start hun i was 7 weeks when i started buying and by 34 weeks the last thing you are going to want to do is run around getting everything you need i am coming up to 30 weeks and am starting to feel very drained and tired get it all done while you can so you can spend the last bit with your feet up knowing everything is done xxx

Hi, I bought my baby's very first outfit when I was only 8 weeks pregnant! I bought her pram and moses basket at around 20 weeks, her carseat at 30 weeks.. I don't think its ever to early to start preparing for a baby.. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and I struggle to even walk up stairs without feeling breathless and tired- I could have never gotten my baby's things ready now. I know every person is different but I got most of the things ready for my baby's arrival before I was 30 weeks and now I have time to do the fun bits like wash and sort out her tiny little outfits and pack my maternity bags :) I would say get ready now and relax and be able to enjoy your last trimester because believe me, its not easy doing ANYTHING at 34 weeks pregnant! GL! xx
