Q: When did you first feel your baby kick during your first pregnancy?

I am 17w3d pregnant with my first and am anxiously awaiting feeling my little one kick! Just curious as to how far along you were in your first pregnancy when you first felt some movement from baby? I would just like an idea of when I can expect to feel something because I am so looking forward to it. :)

Hi Hun. Congrats on the pregnancy . I was around 21 weeks when I first felt my little girl kick. I did have an anterior placenta though so don't know if that made a difference xxxx

14 weeks for flutters, 18 weeks for kicks. I'd say you're due to feel them any time!

This is my first pregnancy, and I didn't feel real "kicks" until around 19 weeks (I am 21 now). And my placenta is posterior, so that's not the reason it took that long.

So I would say you are due to feel them soon! Though if you don't, I wouldn't worry just yet. They say it can take until around 22 weeks with your first pregnancy.

Oh, and you'll know it when you feel them! They are very distinct from gas or muscle twinges.

Both of my pregnancies were different, with my first I felt flutters and kicks at 16 weeks and my second at 18 weeks. the difference was the placenta with my first was in the back and the second pregnancy the placenta was right in front which kept me from feeling baby.
