Q: Ovulation during pregnancy

I found out that I ovulated yesterday despite already recieving BFP via bloodwork, they told me it is very rare but happens on occasion to women like me with irregular cycles and hormal imbalances. They said it is possible for me to concieve a second pregnancy if DH and I BD the babies would measure 2 weeks different so I am to go back in 4 weeks for a second U/S. Have any of you experienced a twin pregnancy with 2 weeks difference? did everything go smoothly I am kind of freaking out but excited at the same time.

I haven't had it personally, but I have heard of it. I was super paranoid of having sex when I first found out I was pregnant because the story I had heard the babies had a pretty decent gap in ages, and one was very under developed at birth. Obviously that wouldn't be the case for yours. I've also seen on Maury (Guilty pleasure, I know) where the woman trying to find the father of her twins was shocked when they had different fathers!

I haven't had this happen to me personally but I have a friend who this happened to. Her son and daughter were 2 weeks apart gestationally but were delivered at the same time...Everything for her turned out fine and they are now 13!
