Q: How to deal with emotions

How do you deal with emotions? I am currently going through a very very difficult time and all I do is cry or be sad and stressed. I know this is bad for the baby. And I don't want to harm it. How do I deal with sadness? I'm 12wks now

Is there someone in your life you can reach out to when you are upset? When I got that way, I would call someone that I could trust with my true emotions and thoughts. Sometimes that person was not my dh or family. Sometimes it is nice to find an outlet that does not have a major connection with you or the baby. Unfortuneatly time is sometimes the only "cure" for these sad moments. I would seemed to never take advice from anyone and time and taliking it through was what helped the most. Best wishes!

I'm so sorry to hear you're going through a difficult time, this should be a wonderful time for you. I deal with my emotions by looking at pictures of my dog(he always makes me smile) or I talk to my husband or mother in law. Even just writing everything down makes me feel better. If it continues though you should really talk to your dr about it. I hope you start feeling less sad. If you want message me and vent. It might make you feel better. Best of luck
