Q: Sac measuring 6 weeks 2 days but no heartbeat?

Hi! Went in for my first ultrasound.. Unsure of how far I was since I have not had a period yet after giving birth to my daughter. Sac was measuring 6 weeks 2 days s fetal pole seen but no heartbeat. I go back next week. Anyone have a similar situation with a good outcome? Thanks!

Nikki,
What was the outcome of this? I am going through the exact same thing except I don't think the fetal pole was there yet either. 6 week, 2 day ultrasound showed 12mm gestational sac and yolk sac but no hb or fetal pole. I go back next week, but am freaking out.

Also, what was the measurement of your gestational sac at that time? Just trying to see if this is normal.

I had the same thing. Went in at around 7 weeks (after being told that I most likely was experiencing a false pregnancy) and it was there.

Hi. I went in at 5 weeks then again at 8 weeks both no heartbeat. Went yesterday and saw the heartbeat first the little heart then the umbilicle cord. Was looking so good. Also got a doppler today and did hear the heartbeat. So try to be patient i know it is hard as i am the same. Now that i heard the heartbeat i cant wait to find out the gender. So i think it i normal to be so curious if i can call it that.
